Detox and revitalize with Tibetan Sound Healing during this blissful 2 hour workshop.

Spring is a time of renewal, welcoming an opportunity to begin anew. Using a powerful combination of yin yoga and sound healing, we will physically and mentally flush ourselves of any toxins and stress to create an energetic opening for renewal, growth and expansion.

During this workshop we will focus on Yin Yoga asanas that bring balance to our liver and gallbladder meridians. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Spring is associated with the Wood element, which governs the liver and gall bladder.  It is important to strengthen and cleanse these organs as we move into this time of year.

The liver is our main organ for detoxification, while our gallbladder stores bile produced by the liver, aiding the digestive process. The main job of the liver meridian is to keep the energy in the entire body regulated. This, in turn brings balance to Manipura, the third chakra, our energy centre.

The Yin Yoga sequence we will be working with, will help to restore the healthy flow of energy through these meridians, supporting the body’s metabolism and its natural ability to eliminate unwanted toxins and waste products and simply let go of any stress or anxiety within the physical body. Additionally, we will be employing various Ancient Tibetan healing protocols to encourage any toxins or stagnant energy to leave the body and then allow the deep vibrations and soothing sounds of the Tibetan Singing Bowls to draw fresh, revitalising energy back into us. Also, with the moon in its last phase, we will have some extra astrological support to fully let go and release. This potent combination will facilitate a state of supreme stillness and you will emerge renewed and revitalized.

Please bring a yoga mat.
