Indulge in a rejuvenating retreat with Tibetan Sound Healing at Aro Ha in New Zealand’s ethereal Southern Alps. This luxurious and transformational experience is designed to quickly nourish and elevate your wellbeing.
This wellness adventure is a refined retreat experience where all aspects of natural health are addressed. In addition to experiencing the nourishing therapeutic benefits of Tibetan Sound Healing each day, you will also experience a carefully curated mix of complementary activities to aid a calm, clear and present mind whilst also boosting your physical health (expect to become leaner, stronger, and more flexible with physically stimulating activities including hiking and yoga). You are simply required to show up, be present, and allow the experience to unveil your inherent unbound potential. You will leave inspired and empowered to integrate your elevated sense of wellbeing back into your day-to-day life.

Tibetan Sound Healing’s Phoebe Joel will be leading the retreat and retreat participants will also be supported by Aro Ha’s team of professional staff who assure safety and enjoyment at all times. No prior sound healing, yoga or meditation experience is required and we welcome all levels of fitness. Some of the activities offered during the retreat will be more physically dynamic than others, so we will encourage you to engage in each of these at your own pace, at a level that is comfortable for you.

Hike in New Zealand’s World Heritage parks
Stretch & strengthen with vinyasa yoga, relax & release with yin & restorative yoga
Cleanse through Aro Hā’s vegetarian cuisine
Focus with mindfulness and meditation
Rejuvenate with a daily 60 minute massage
Luxuriate in the Obsidian therapeutic Spa with traditional and infrared saunas, hot tub and cold plunge pools
Enjoy specialty workshops and demonstrations including a raw vegan “un-cooking” class

****A deposit of $1,000 NZD is required to secure your spot on the retreat. The remaining balance is due 1 month prior to the retreat. For cancellation requests submitted with more than 30 days before the start of the retreat, 100% of your deposit will be refunded. For cancellation requests submitted within 30 days of the retreat date, your $1,000 NZD deposit will be non-refundable but can be used as credit towards another retreat at Aro Ha.
Accommodation:
The rooms at Aro Hā have been designed to celebrate the fundamental acts of sleeping and bathing in Zen inspired luxury. There are 8 accommodation units each with a unique aspect.
Rooms are well appointed and have a sustainable, ecologically friendly story. Furnished in a refined, uncluttered manner. Recycled timbers, woven natural dyed blankets, organic cotton linen, New Zealand wool floor rugs and natural latex mattresses. There are desks for journaling and spaces for reading. Rooms are well lit and all have views.
Bathrooms are well appointed, designed to be shared and feature separate shower/bath/toilet spaces. Bathrobes and oversized towels are in all bathrooms as are organic body & shower products.
Eco Suite Private Room
This Eco-Suite is divided into 2 private rooms with King Sized beds in each room, suited for individuals wishing to have their own room.
Eco Suite Shared Room
This Eco-Suite is suited for a couple or 2 friends wishing to share a room. The space is divided into 2 private rooms with either a King Sized bed or 2 King Single beds in each room.
Monastic Eco Single
Private king single beds suited for 1 person only, with shared bathrooms. Each room has a small desk and views.
