Introducing the second in a series of immersive workshops exploring the five senses
Join us for a delightful interactive experience exploring the sense of taste.
In Ayurveda, sensory perception arises from the subtle energy of the five elements - Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space. The tongue, the sensory organ of taste is related in function to the water element within. This workshop will offer a space for you to explore how stabilising the subtle energy of the water element enhances and awakens sensory perception.
Expect a nourishing multi-sensory somatic experience to stimulate the five senses and arouse one's sense of taste. Celebrated Ayurvedic practitioner Jes Chev, will be joining us to present a short talk on the sense of taste.
This experience includes:
Learn about the the Ayurvedic concept of ojas and the sense of taste during a talk with renowned Ayurvedic practitioner Jes Chev
Gentle yin yoga paired with a deeply relaxing sound bath to balance the water element within and release deep layers of tension stored in the physical and energetic body
Learn a powerful pranic vayu breathwork technique to connect to the water element and enhance your sense of taste
Guided by your senses you will enjoy a potent and delicious treat to boost one’s ojas
