During this session we will use an Ancient Tibetan ritual to purify and balance the three Shariras (the physical body, subtle body and mind, and consciousness). This online class will include gentle pre-meditative asana, pranayama, visualization and the sensing of different energy pathways in the body to purify, rebalance, and direct consciousness. The ritual will conclude with a seated meditation.
The potent Tibetan ritual shared in this workshop has been passed down the ISHTA yoga lineage from a Tibetan master teacher. This meditation is still taught today by Kavi Yogiraj Alan Finger at his studio in New York.
*No prior yoga or meditation experience is required*
What you will need:
a yoga mat or soft surface (e.g. carpeted floor)
a comfortable place to sit (e.g. chair, yoga bolster or folded blankets to sit on)
